Sassy All-Occasion Cards

I love paper crafts, but my favorite kind of paper crafts to make are sassy all-occasion cards.  Some of my favorite stamps are from Whipper Snapper, Art Impressions and Stampendous and my all time favorite stamp company for sayings is Riley and Company.

I have a friend who is my card design hero.  Her name is Donna West and we worked together at my store.  She has a true gift at card design.  Her cards are always textural, with movement, balance and beauty and they just make me happy when I see them.  She is ambidextrous…in that she uses Copics as well as Prismacolor pencils.  🙂  She is a very popular teacher locally in Arizona and she has a blog http://thepapercutters.blogspot.com/ and a Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/thepapercutters/videos .   Follow along with her as she shares her amazing cards.  I promise she will inspire you.

Art Impressions

This fun little card was made with the Art Impressions stamp called Madge.   She was the perfect mate for the Riley and Company Funny Bones stamp.  I colored her with Prismacolor pencils

Here is another Art Impressions stamp called Jewel.  I love her!  She works with so many different sayings!  Coffee themed…sassy old broad themed…there are just too many sayings to choose from.  I colored her with Prismacolor pencils and used a rectangle die cut for the dots around the edges.

Deep Red Stamp Company

This was just a happy coincidence that I found the perfect stamp to go with my Riley and Company saying.  They were made for each other.  The Deep Red Stamp is called Cowboy.

Unity Stamps

If you know anybody having a bad day, this will surely cheer them up!  The stamp is from Unity and I once again used Prismacolor pencils for the coloring.  The die cut frame is Spellbinders.

Okay, this one is showing my warped sense of humor.  I love this one!  The stamp is from Whipper Snapper called Birthday Potty and it includes the saying.

I hope you got a giggle out of these cards.  They are a joy to make.

Happy tinkering,

Susan
